Our Favorite Willamette Valley Wineries for Rosé

1. Coeur de Terre Vineyard – Syrah-powered Rustique Rosé

Nestled in the McMinnville AVA foothills, Coeur de Terre is an organic, family-run gem.

Their signature Rustique Rosé is a rare Willamette blend—48% Syrah and 52% Pinot Noir—combining bright red fruit and a peppery lift, finishing crisp and refreshing. Despite the Valley’s cool climate, a unique microclimate on their property supports Syrah—uncommon in the region. Coeur de Terre’s tasting room is beloved for its warm hospitality, low-yield organic farming, and beautifully handcrafted estate wines.

Why we love it: Coeur de Terre really goes above and beyond with their hospitality. Order ahead for their thoughtfully assembled charcuterie, or join them for one of their music events.

2. Eola Hills Estates (Legacy Estate Vineyard) – Rosé with sweeping valley views

Perched high in the Eola‐Amity Hills, this stunning estate offers panoramic views.

Their patio is ideal for sipping a playful Classic Rosé (a blend of Chardonnay, Riesling, Muscat, Merlot) or their sparkling Brut Rosé of Pinot Noir. Visitors can wine and hike on acre-wide trails, picnic lakeside, and soak in the rustic-luxe ambiance amidst west-facing slopes and cooling coastal breezes.

Why we love it: we believe you can't beat an affordable rosé enjoyed al fresco. Combined with their ample patio dotted with comfortable seating, and their peaceful views of farms in the valley below, this is one of our favorite stops.

3. Varnum Vintners – Porch Pink Sparkling Rosé in friendly formats

A small, couple-owned operation in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA.

Varnums are innovators committed to “Made to drink. Don’t over‑think.” Their bubbly Porch Pink is a floral, strawberry‑tinged sparkling rosé available in 375 ml “beer‑bottle” format—an eco-friendly, portable twist. They’ve led the charge in low‑alcohol, non-alc, and single-serve packaging, making fine wines—sparkling and still—more accessible. Beyond wine, their tasting room includes non-alc beverages and spirits in a casual, welcoming atmosphere.

Why we love it: we appreciate a winery that doesn't take itself too seriously, but Varnums also has seriously good wine. We were delighted by their colorful Scandanavian-styled tasting room and the surprise mountain view in their casual outdoor tasting area.
